Modern Day Wedding Films are an artistic and emotional short film of your wedding day.  All wedding film makers take pride in capturing those special candid moments between the bride and groom that make these films so real.  A big part of this format is what we call the bride prep.  This is the footage we capture of the bride getting ready.  This includes her interactions with her bridesmaids and her family, applying her makeup, and everything leading up to her putting on the dress!  All of this may seem very trivial, but filmed and edited properly it is a very important part of the film.  It is really part of the event for the bride, and it is something the groom never gets to see.  Fortunately we are a husband and wife team, so brides feel very comfortable with my wife being there with them and getting all the footage.

When you choose a wedding package keep in mind that if you tell your filmmaker (or videographer) you only need them to film from the ceremony forward, you will be missing a large part of what today’s wedding films incorporate into the final cut of your movie.
