We have been really busy here at Red Leaf Films. Not complaining, just been very busy! As a small business owner you want to stay busy because that means you are working, but with that busy comes stress!! As much as I love what I do when it comes to filming and editing, it is work and you can easily forget that this is what you enjoy. One of the things I do to remind myself and give myself that gut-check is film my son and edit that footage when I have free time, which is not very often when you are busy. We recently took a Disney Cruise and of course I brought my Canon 7D to get footage of my little man (he will be 5 in mid-July) enjoying himself on this wonderful cruise experience. As you can imagine, a home video in my house is not just a video, it is a full movie production once I am done with it. So when I have time I will make that film to send to grandparents so they can see the full movie production, but in the meantime I wanted to do something with some of that footage. the program iMovie (which comes with every Mac computer) has trailer templates, so I used one of those templates to create a movie trailer. Again, this was me enjoying what I do and reminding myself why I do it. Plus, it was fun! I hope you enjoy it- a short glimpse of our family vacation.
