Old Edwards Inn is a premiere Inn and Spa located in Highlands, North Carolina. They are also a great venue for a destination wedding, surrounded by picturesque views in an elegant setting. Red Leaf Films was there recently filming an event they had for some of their customers. Several of the regional farmers they use were there, and each was paired with a chef that created some wonderful and tasty dishes with the ingredients the farm provides to Old Edwards Inn. The event was a lot of fun, and the food was awesome!!
Here is the trailer for a wedding we filmed in Chapel Hill, NC. The Bride, Natalie, was very sweet and the ceremony was at a beautiful church right on East Franklin Street. Their focus was mainly the ceremony, so we made sure to capture as much footage as possible at the church before the ceremony as well.
Here is the trailer for a wedding we filmed in Asheville, NC. Wendy and Ryan were a very sweet couple. When they decided they wanted Red Leaf Films to capture their wedding day there was one thing they wanted to make sure we filmed- their first dance. They took dance lessons for the occasion and everyone knew, so when it came time for their dance they missed a few beats but everyone loved it!! This wedding was at Homewood, one of our favorite venues in Asheville.
When this couple called me and wanted to meet with me to be their wedding videographer, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Once we sat down I realized that they were very laid back and just wanted to have a small ceremony for family and friends, but mainly wanted to have fun. The wedding and reception were at the North Stone Country Club in Huntersville. The ceremony was short and sweet but the wedding reception was not ending early by any means!! Great couple and we were glad to film this wedding for the happy couple!
At Red Leaf Films we take pride in Capturing your wedding day with artistic flare. The beauty of the day and the romance of the event are what we focus on because we know that is important to you.
I just wanted to share a blog post of a client whose wedding we filmed last year out in the Asheville area. A year later they watched their wedding video again and shared some of their pictures and their wedding trailer. This is why I really enjoy what I do- and why everyone should have a wedding video!!

I think that is what I am supposed to say on my very first blog! Just so you know, my intent wasn’t to join the millions of people who blog. My intent was to give a facelift to my website. When I started my company funds were limited, and a website designed by a professional was not even an option. If you saw my original website when I incorporated my company back in February of 2007, you definitely would have noticed that we had no marketing budget. Of course I learned and tinkered and eventually created a website that was actually pretty good! But it had always been a work in progress, until recently. A few months back I decided that it was time to get a professional involved to take what I had created and make it better. So with the help from the great people at Synchronicity Web Design I not only have a professionally designed website that I am completely happy with, but I can now blog! So with this new tool at my fingertips, I will do my best to not bore you with rants and raves. My goal is to share my work and my craft, in hopes that you can enjoy watching it as much as I do creating it.
So I will say it again… Hello World!!
